More energy efficiency in the city of Besigheim with ENGIE

The city reduces its CO2 emissions by 59 %

At the entrance of the Enz to the Neckar lies the medieval town of Besigheim. On three sides surrounded by the two rivers, the picturesque town lies about 25 kilometers north of Stuttgart. The Besigheim City Council had been playing with the idea of making its properties more energy-efficient for several years, and in 2011 it commissioned ENGIE to analyze the properties and identify potential savings. In total, around 50 individual energy-saving measures were implemented in the city of Besigheim.
