Cologne/Hanover - ENGIE Deutschland, one of Germany's leading specialists in building services engineering, energy & facility solutions, renewable energies, and industrial and commercial refrigeration, opened a branch office in Hanover on Monday, January 3, 2022. The 25-member team at the location serves companies in the regions of Hanover, Wolfsburg, Braunschweig, Bremen and Göttingen. "At ENGIE Deutschland, it is close to our hearts to be there for our customers locally and to help them advance on their transformation path to climate neutrality with individual solutions. That is why we are pleased to expand our network in Lower Saxony and achieve even greater customer proximity, especially in the Hanover region," says Branch Manager Matthew Smith.

Reaching climate targets with ENGIE

As of now, the Hanover team offers many activities from the ENGIE Germany portfolio as in-house services: The Expert:innen fully cover the trades electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning for facility management as well as service and maintenance and take over operator responsibility on request. They also provide competent support in the planning and implementation of new and renovated facilities. The solutions are aimed at users and owners of commercial real estate as well as industrial and logistics companies. The new location benefits from the local cooperation with several subsidiaries and sister companies from the ENGIE Group - first and foremost with the branches of Otto Building Technologies, ENGIE Refrigeration, H.G.S. and Storengy Deutschland in Hanover. The team also works closely with colleagues from the Secure Power Systems (SPS) branch in Hamburg and tenant power experts from ENGIE subsidiary Solarimo in Berlin. "We are guided by a clear objective: We want to use sustainable solutions to increase the energy efficiency of plants and buildings and, together with our customers, make a contribution to meeting the ESG criteria, to achieving their own climate targets and to the success of the energy transition," emphasizes Matthew Smith.
