ENGIE Deutschland opens site in the Aachen area

Cologne/Aachen - ENGIE Deutschland GmbH has opened a new site in Aachen. The leading specialist for technology, energy  and service in Germany is thus expanding its sales network in North Rhine-Westphalia: "The Aachen site plays a strategic role for ENGIE Deutschland; not least because  our headquarters have been located in nearby Cologne for many years. In North Rhine-Westphalia we  have an established customer base. We are looking forward to bringing our  customers in the greater Aachen region closer to us in terms of space and to guaranteeing them even shorter routes and  faster processes from now on," says Sven Gelezas, authorized signatory and regional manager of the West region in the Building Services business unit of ENGIE Deutschland. Sven Gelezas is responsible for the new site, which is managed locally by Heinz-Josef Lentzen.

The focus is on the development and implementation of individual customer solutions in the  area of building services, the more efficient interlocking of processes and the modern equipment of real estate. Furthermore, the team is characterized by a high level of expertise in refrigeration technology, as Sven Gelezas explains: "We specialize in the construction of energy-optimized, environmentally compatible refrigeration systems. We use natural refrigerants such as CO₂ and NH₃ as well as isobutane as much as possible. "To this end, the Aachen team works closely with colleagues from other business areas of ENGIE Deutschland, in particular with the refrigeration and heating specialists at ENGIE Refrigeration and the experts of the "Test Benches and Environmental Simulation" branch (TBES).

Customer proximity as basis for further growth
In the greater Aachen area, the ENGIE team will serve more than 300 customers in the future. These include well-known industrial companies from the fields of food, pharmaceuticals and steel processing, as well as hospitals and research and education institutions. "Due to the high density of companies and scientists, we  see great potential for further growth in the Aachen region. The clear goal is to expand  our market position in North Rhine-Westphalia and to convince new customers of our product and service services," says Sven Gelezas. The new location of ENGIE Deutschland is located on Industriestrasse in Aldenhoven.
