ENGIE Deutschland AG
Renewable. Local. Efficient.
ENGIE Deutschland AG (formerly GDF SUEZ Energie Deutschland AG) has been a permanent feature on the German market for many years, and is a reliable provider when it comes to generating electricity and long-distance heating.
We have been advocating the greater use of renewable energies since long before the energy revolution. We want to further expand our 13 wind parks in the countryside, each with an installed capacity of 200 mW, which will make us a key provider and operator of renewable energies who can boast a wealth of experience in all relevant technologies. With the Pfreimd hydro-energy power plant, we are making a contribution not only to the generation of energy, but also to stabilising the network by balancing out the fluctuations of wind and sun energy with to-the-second accuracy.
Thanks to this versatile generation of energy using renewable and conventional resources and modern and efficient plant facilities, ENGIE Deutschland AG is make a contribution to secure energy supply in Germany.
Decades of strategic partnerships at all levels of the value creation chain mean we have links with local energy companies. Together with GASAG (Berlin), Energieversorgung Gera, Energie SaarLorLux (Saarbrücken) and WSW Energie & Wasser (Wuppertal), we are able to develop specific solutions tailor-made for the different demands and possibilities locally - all under the roof of regional diversity, a key pillar for implementing the energy revolution in Germany.
